Cake Tuesday: Lace.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! In honor of the occasion, I will be drinking margaritas all day.

Every time I visit Holman Ranch it gets more and more beautiful - the massive oak trees alone are stunning; coupled with the native stone buildings and breathtaking views, it's a terrific spot to tie the knot. And luckily the weather held this weekend - grey but dry, and not too hot or cold. Everyone's collective finger-crossing paid off, apparently.

The cakes are usually set up either in the barn or in a beautiful stone courtyard, pictured here:

Between the netting to protect the cake and the recreation of delicate lace, this had a very sweet, bridal feel.
