So NaBloPoMo's theme for May is "sweet" - what better time for me to (try to) participate?

Sweet has 12 different entries on dictionary.com; 27 variations in the first entry alone. This month'll be cake. (Ha! See what I did?)

So I got back from my ride on Tuesday and my mailbox was overflowing with birthday treats - thumbprint cookies from one friend, a beautifully wrapped gift certificate to one of my favorite local girlie stores from my husband, and a bag of gummy bears (the good kind!) from another friend. What sweet people!! (Ok, enough.)

Some gummy bears are gross - no flavor, or too mushy - but the European ones are perfect. (Even then, my entire life I've picked out the yellow and orange ones and given them away (Van Halenish but without the riots. Usually.).

So happy May, and here's to more regular updates, at least for the next 31 days.
