Cake Tuesday: sketches.
One of the things I do for clients is a watercolor sketch of the cake design we've come up with, to make sure we're envisioning the same thing.
I've heard from various folks that these should be a part of the website - I really like doing them (and sharing them when clients ask).
Here are a couple, featuring spring-ish flowers, since we're officially celebrating spring around here:
.
These tiers were surrounded with sugar stems and wildflowers, mixed with a few fresh roses. It was one of my favorite cakes of all time.

These tiers were banded with edible sage ribbon, dotted with sugar hydrangea blossoms. The cool colors worked so well together, presenting a clean, classic design that wasn't fussy or stuffy. What do you think - should the sketches be worked into the website? Let me know!
