Cake Tuesday: train (of thought?).

I apologize in advance for another short entry - I'm juggling a rather sizeable dinner party with client consultations and sugar poppies and I'm up to my ears in barbeque sauce. But if you're ever looking for an UNBELIEVABLE dinner roll recipe, this is it. They're light and buttery and flavorful and perfect - sort of the dinner roll equivalent of a Krispy Kreme.

For today, I'm sharing another cake inspired by dress design. This bride's dress was lovely, with an intricately beaded bodice and a train made up of layered panels that were lightly beaded.

The cake was stacked buttercream squares, with a beaded central tier and a train made up of layered sugar panels that were lightly beaded. Very classic.

Now, back to my chicken.
