Aqua Cat.

It's been awhile since you've heard about Dunquin, and I'm certain that you've had some sleepless nights regarding her transition back home. I guess I was worried for nothing - it's been a complete non-transition. She wasn't confused, there was no incessant yowling, she hasn't once wandered over to the rental looking for food or shelter.

I don't know if I've mentioned her weird affinity for water. As a kitten, at least twice she jumped (fell? twice??) in the pond, scrambled out, and raced around the yard soaking wet. She used to regularly walk around the edge of the clawfoot tub when someone was showering, sometimes sitting IN the tub, albeit at the far end (away from the direct stream of water, but certainly in the splash zone).

And now that there's a shower stall, she intuitively seems to know when someone is in there and consistently shows up just in time to sit on the warm damp marble.

Last week I found her waiting here; she still hasn't figured out how to turn the taps on by herself.
