reminders.

Sometimes we're lucky enough to be invited to stay at a wedding, and if our schedule permits, of course we do.

We just attended a beautiful wedding at a lovely new location in Livermore. The couple was adorable, and seemed very happy with how the feathery cake turned out:

The kitchen did a fantastic job with the food, and Ruby Hill's wines were quite nice. The couple had tucked fun and thoughtful surprises all around the reception, including a photo booth, which of course we had to visit.

It's a complete privilege to witness such a vital, momentous occasion. There's no room for doubt or pessimism at a wedding ceremony, and listening to a unique expression of commitment and love allows everyone in a relationship to take a fresh look at the person they're with and say, "hey, I remember why I love you." Reminders are good.
