where to begin.
So much to share - so little time. Here's some of the fun we had with cake last week - a really clean design, chic and modern on one table (the oversized pearls are making some weird shadows in this photo!):

With a very cool groom's cake on a side table:

The groom is a collector, and has each pristine model in its original box. I made sure every detail, down to the number of holes in the front, was perfect. Between the fires, the rain, and the UNHEARD of thunder and lightening last weekend, it was nice to know there was at least one thing the bride didn't have to worry about.
The house move is almost complete - I'm surrounded by boxes in various stages of chaos, and have a very unhappy cat on my hands. The water was disconnected for a few days, but the garden is surviving:

And check out the blueberries!

YUM. My aunt Marjorie gave me a wonderful recipe for blueberry slump at my father's birthday party a few years ago - maybe next week I'll have time to make it (and - here's ambitious for you - post the recipe!).
In the meantime, if you're a past client (or know a past client) and feel so inclined, it would be lovely if you could take a moment to visit this site and give us a "best of the best" plug.
Thank you!
