Cake Tuesday: yee haw!

My clients have a working ranch, with Holstein cows, and the groom has a John Deere tractor. They were married at the very beautiful Holman Ranch, and wanted the cake (and groom's cake) in keeping with their laid-back, cowboy style. So the cake had cow spots, with sugar rope around each tier (as well as the couple's brand on the front of the cake):

and the groom's cake was the John Deere:

The bride sent me a little toy tractor to use for a model - you can see it next to the cake here:

It's one of my favorite groom's cakes ever. Rebecca shot this wedding, too - be sure to check out the wedding pics when she posts them - the groomsmen were in black cowboy hats and suits and looked TERRIFIC.
