yawn.
It has been foggy all week in Santa Cruz. The bad news is, it's made me want to do nothing
more than curl up with a blanket and the cat and my book and a mug of homemade cocoa.
The good news is, it's delayed the exceedingly controversial spraying for the Light
Brown Apple Moth.
Apparently lots of people
(including little kids) got really sick when they sprayed in Monterey
last month. And nothing we can do seems to be able to stop the spraying here, too, although
there don't seem to be any clear statistics for the outcome. They say it's harmless, but
didn't they say that about ddt originally?
