the down side.

So yesterday we got back from Idaho later than expected and I was at the commercial kitchen
way too late, doing prep work for this weekend's weddings.

One of the (only) down sides to the wedding cake business is that weekends are rarely free.
No sleeping in on Saturday mornings, and when friends call with super-fun last-minute plans
for bike rides, hikes, trips to Sonoma - I almost always have to say no.
