There is a common misconception that music videos originated in the 80s, with MTV.
Here's proof that they were making them long before that - this is actually the mother of one
of my good friends. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen? The original Material Girl.
We're gearing up for Thanksgiving - it's hard to believe it's even that time of year when
it's 70 and sunny for days on end. I threw a wonderfully wintery scarf on before leaving
the house last night and ended up just sweaty and feeling ridiculous. I love fall! I love sweater
weather! Bring on the chill, please!
And I haven't started making the Christmas cards yet - every year I swear I'm
going to start in
August so I'm not licking stamps on the way to the post office
on December 24th, and it never,
ever happens.
