Edith Meyer works with local Santa Cruz organic farmers to gather our ingredients - we use only the very best we can find, and we know where they were grown. It makes a difference in our wedding cakes, our special occasion cakes, and in all of the baked goods that we create.
A lot of bakeries can provide you with a pretty cake, but to have a beautiful cake that tastes delicious? That's a bigger challenge. Everyone tells you their cakes taste great, but it's up to you to ask around. Check with other vendors about experiences they've had, and ask for bridal references from your baker. We encourage you to consult with all the bakers you can squeeze in - the more cakes you try, the more sure you'll be that you've made the best decision for your guests and for yourselves on your wedding day.
